CMC Triggers is the original manufacturer of the Drop-in Trigger Group for the AR-15/10 rifle since 2003.

CMC's innovative, self-contained and easy-to-install AR-15 trigger groups, have been completely re-tooled to maximize production capacities, incorporate new design enhancements and reduce cost. CMC's AR-15 trigger groups have always yielded exceptional trigger pull dynamics for tens of thousands of satisfied customers.

CMC’s critical sear engagement surfaces have a proprietary machining process that renders superior surface finish and dimensional control. This process yields a surface roughness of only 1-2 RMS, compared to other trigger manufacturers at typically 32 RMS.

Inspired by the 1911 pistol, CMC’s Two-Stage Drop-in Trigger module provides all the advantages of a fine, match-grade trigger without the hand-fitting and trial-and-error.

What is a two-stage trigger?
Two stage triggers require the shooter to pull the trigger until it hits a 'break wall', which is a stopping point between the first and second stages. Similar to taking up the slack as some people call it, the two stage trigger then breaks during the second stage after hitting the break wall. The benefit of a two stage trigger is that the shooter knows at exactly what point the trigger will break and is usually preferred on a DMR or marksman style bench-rest rifle.

Curved Trigger Bow
For the shooter who wants a traditional feel. The Curved Trigger has an exceptionally smooth feel and ultra-clean break. With excellent lock time and lighting-fast positive reset, the CMC Curved Trigger is unsurpassed by any other fire control group.

Straight/Flat Trigger Bow
Ultimate for feel and break. With the Shooters finger coming to rest naturally on the shoe, every pull is the same as the one before it. The CMC Flat Trigger Bow renders a linear feel unsurpassed by any other trigger bow shape.

What pin size do I need?
Generally the only receivers that use Large (0.172") pins are Colt lowers manufactured between 1991 and late 2009. Nearly all other AR-15-pattern receivers use a standard/small pin (0.154" diameter).
If you are unsure of the pin diameter needed for your rifle, you can take a measurement by pressing a pin far enough out of the receiver to measure its diameter. Note that the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 uses a small pin (0.154" diameter) but requires special longer pins because the receiver is wider.
