Sometimes the internet gets it right.
A little while ago we launched a muzzle brake design and naming contest with the True North Arms community. We presented several design options and asked you to vote for your favorite. After the first round of polling, Design C came out on top. With the winning design locked in, we moved on to the second round—what should we call it?
Out of all the suggestions submitted, one name rose above the rest in the final poll:
BrakeyMcBrakeface.
And honestly… how could we say no?
The name that captured the hearts (and sense of humor) of Canadian shooters is now officially part of the TNA lineup. The BrakeyMcBrakeface muzzle brake is now in production, in stock, and ready to ship.

Designed and Made in Ontario, Canada
The BrakeyMcBrakeface was designed and manufactured right here in Ontario using durable 4150 barrel steel, then finished in a tough black nitride coating for corrosion resistance and a clean, glossy appearance.
Performance-wise, it does exactly what a good muzzle brake should: reduce felt recoil while adding a bit of extra personality at the range.
The design features pronounced curved ports with varying geometries, helping redirect gas to counter recoil and keep the rifle flatter during firing. The distinctive ring-style exterior was part of the winning design and gives the brake its unique look.
