Well, it fit perfectly, no slop. Great finish no need to sand it, ready for finishing, trigger group latch spring hole is too deep but I just filled it with jb weld and used an end mill bit to dress it after to proper depth. I'm glad I got it,it's about 1.75" of extra lop which is perfect for me. I'll apply Tru oil tomorrow and reassemble it. Ya just can't beat the value!

Fits better than original stock, no wiggling. Nice factory finish, feels more like a modern rifle in the hands. No complaints, convincing friends with sks to also buy. On french tickler. Keep in mind maxwell will require some sanding down to fit duckbill mags. ALSO when disassembling your stock gas tube on the original handguard, you will need to drill out the pin, make sure you have the tools and a replacement pin there are many forum posts on how to do this. It is hard to find a pin in canada so you may have to make one out of a #6 finishing nail.
