The SS-211 12GA O/U was specifically designed for the Canadian market to feature a lightweight and compact design in a NON-RESTRICTED package.
This shotgun is small enough to be carried in a pack. The barrel is easily removed from action for stowage in bug-out bag or survival kit. The light weight and compact dimensions also makes the SS-211 a great compliment for smaller statured and beginner shooters when combined with 1.75” mini shells.
The stock is long enough to be shouldered and features a double thickness rubber buttpad for shooting comfort. The barrel is rated for steel shot with a chamber sized for 3” magnum.
The SS-211 features a crisp trigger and a beautiful walnut stock, well endowed with aggressive checkering for a sturdy grip with gloves or in wet conditions.

Sub 26" OAL restriction only applies to firearms when this is reached via folding, telescoping or otherwise. Since the SS-211 has a fixed OAL and is not a handgun, it is therefore non-restricted. FRT# 194951-7

Apart from having to wait so long for the shotty to land I am pleasantly surprised by the fit and finish of my late production model. Metal to wood fit is very tight. The action is tight but will obviously ease-up. Extended chokes will be sourced, just for safety. Finding 1 3/4" mini-shell slugs is not easy but I'll be using slugs and 'o' buck for bush-walking and prospecting. Great price and the scale chequering is very attractive. I was worried that an alloy receiver would be too light, but this is chunky and solid and stout enough to handle what I need. Nice one guys !
