The basic flash hider that you find on most factory AR-15s. Doesn't reduce recoil but reduces flash. Not the prettiest belle of the ball but get the job done. If you are more after looks go with the CNA version.
A2- style means the bottom area is solid to reduce dust kick-up when shooting prone.

This is a basic flash hider that does it's job well. It extends the overall length of your build by about 1.5 inches and will make your 12.5 inch barrel in a 12 inch handguard look amazing!

A2 flash-hider.
It is exactly what you would expect, extends your barrels overall length by a bit, hides the muzzle flash, keeps some dust from gettin kicked up if you're laying down. ||Don't forget your crush washer.
