- (1) Torsion spring
- (1) Low-profile 'C'-style retaining clip
Compatible with:
- All mil-spec AR-15 uppers
Installation Difficulty:
Tools required: A C-clip tool would be nice. Otherwise a couple of mini flathead screwdrivers or needlenose pliers will do the trick
Installation notes: The C-clip will be frustrating without the correct tool. Use paper or gaffer tape to prevent marring the upper while fighting with the clip

More like a BCG cover
It's more like a BCG cover, than a dust cover. It doesn't really "cover dust" as the name implies. I suppose dust keeper outer would also be accurate. Either way, this dust keeper outer will keep out all of the dust. It even flips open when the BCG moves past it just as it should.

Too Stiff
Tried to use this with an Aero Precision slick-side upper but the catch is way too stiff. You can't close it by hand.

Simple, affordable, works.
What can I say, it's a nice little dust-cover. Good black andonizing, everything was included, just popped the rod through and re-positioned the spring extension and it worked as it should. ||One thing I would mention, this is not a manufacturer related thing. But if you're new to building, don't forget to install your dust-cover BEFORE installing the barrel and handguard nut. Otherwise you'll need to get some sort of jig and brass/wood/rubber mallet and tap the guide rod into place, which risks marring the finish on your upper and barrel.
