A Roll Pin Starter punch is basically a punch with a shallow hole drilled in the end to hold a roll pin and help you get it started. Reduces swearing, roll pin breakage, and gun scratches.
This is a new and improved set compared to the ones we have sold previously. These four punches should work for all roll pin diameters on the AR-15:
- 1/16"
- 5/64"
- 3/32"
- 1/8"

A Must Have
I've built two AR's without these and man is it so much easier with them. I was able to install my forward assist without a vice and not even using a hammer. I had an AK bayonet closer to me than my hammer, so I used it and man it was still easy. I will say they were not as long as I thought they were, not that it matters. If you are reading this, buy them!

I doubted the need for having these at first. After using them I realize how foolish I was. These make the job much easier.
