These handguards are built extremely tough. If a tank had a picatinny rail this would be it.
The detachable bottom is designed to allow an M203 grenade launcher to be attached to the barrel without removing the entire free-floating handguard.
The beauty of this piece is you don't need a proprietary wrench, as the barrel nut is shaped like the buffer tube castle nut, so nearly any armourer's wrench will work. You can also use our TNA Crow's Foot which has a castle nut wrench built in.
The 12.7" version with FSB hole has a cutout for carbine-length barrels with a Front Sight Gas Block.
Features: Extruded aluminum, CNC finished and anodized. You get: (1) Handguard (1) Set of barrel nut and hardware (1) set of 3mm and 4mm hex screws Not compatible with: WK-180C and MCR Tools required: Any armourer's wrench with castle nut wrangling capabilities Installation Tips: You need to remove the bottom picatinny rail (screws are located on the handguard sides) to gain access to the two inner screws holding the barrel nut in place.
