The tapered three-prong flash hider was used in Vietnam to reduce muzzle flash, cut fence wires, and open cases of C-rations. #retro
- Tougher than the duckbill style that came before it
- Reduces flash a little better than the birdcage that came after it
- Similar to the flash hider used on the Model 602, 603, and XM16E1
- Not recommended for jungle use due to its ability to catch on every twig
- Does not include a crush washer
- Weight: 55g

Installation Difficulty:
Tools required: There are no wrench flats so you'll need to use a jam nut or stout strap wrench. A jam nut might help
