The weld spring is the dealy that makes the Delta ring springy. This little guy's job is to keep forward pressure on the delta ring and thus help to retain an OEM foregrip.

Installation Difficulty:

Tools required: None for this spring alone, but you will need the armorer's wrench and some grease for the barrel nut.

Installation notes: The little gap is for the gas tube so use a probe or something small to rotate the ring into position.
