AD-500
Got this a couple weeks ago to replace my no longer legal deer rifle... Anyway, it feels quite sturdy and I didn't have any malfunctions with the 20rds of 168g HPBT. The recoil is somewhat less than I expected. I set this up with a Bushnell red dot and 3x magnifier. Didn't take long to get it on paper but I've since ordered a scope to try out. The red dot is 2 MOA at best and probably sufficient but I couldn't get the groups I wanted at 100m. This is not a failing of the rifle, but of my skills and eyesight. I was able to keep it within a 3" group regardless. Trigger is a hell of alot nicer than my Kel-tec RFB that this is replacing. My only minor gripe is the lack of bolt catch/release button I am accustomed to using. Takes a bit of a smack and it brings the bolt forward. For the money I'm very pleased overall. The sights that come with it are actually pretty good if you don't want to put an optic on it right away. I like that I won't have to worry about wear and tear with the polymer. I will say that after about 10 shots in 35c weather we were having, the barrels did get a bit toasty, not unexpected. No sharp edges, mags go in and out nicely, finish was uniform. Not sure what else to add, it does what it was designed to do.
