M4-72 AK-47 Severe-Duty Compensator

Features an innovative reverse venting triple baffle design for the highest recoil reduction in its class. Closed bottom construction combined with upward biased venting effectively eliminates both muzzle rise and dust signature. Precision machined from heat treated stainless steel for superior durability, the M4-72 can withstand the extreme heat of combat conditions without being subject to rapid erosion. Available with an advanced Ionbond® high temperature CrCN coating (matte black).

Designed to fit AK-47 style rifles (7.62x39mm) with 14x1mm LH threads.

Comes with two heavy duty proprietary crush springs (2 installations) offering the required pre-load for a rock solid fit and accurate alignment. Additional crush springs are available for individual purchase above.

Warning: Reverse venting design may cause excessive blast/concussion on barrels shorter than 14.5".

Installation Difficulty:

• Shim kit (recommended)

Installation notes:
• Ensure firearm is unloaded before installation
• Uses left-hand threads (tighten counterclockwise)
• Depress the AK muzzle detent pin when removing/installing
• Properly time the compensator so top ports face upward
• Shims are recommended for proper alignment
• Expect significant blast/concussion due to design
