Cerakote Gas Tubes for AR-15

Product Description

A gas tube is essntial for AR-15-pattern firearms to carry hot gases back to the bolt carrier group.

These gas tubes have been cerakoted by Red Tower Armoury in some nice colours.

Pleas note the cerakote adds 1-2 thousands of an inch thickness which can interfere with tight-fitting parts. It may be necessary to do some very light sanding with 1000 grit sandpaper of the mating surfaces (mainly just the tips).

What length of gas tube do I need?

Take your barrel and measure the distance from the breech end overall to the gas block shoulder, in inches. Look up this number on the chart below.

You get: (1) gas tube of the chosen length and colour
You need to get separately: (1) Gas tube roll pin (usually comes with the gas block)

Tools required: It may help to have some needle-nose pliers or a pin punch to drive in the Gas Tube Roll Pin.
Installation Tips: One easy way is to get a starter punch and simply wiggle it into the gas block by hand until the punch bottoms out, then switch to a roll pin (nipple ended) punch. If you are replacing a Gas Tube, we recommend installing a new Roll Pin for factory-fresh retention strength.
