They are very affordable and incredibly well-made barrels. All of their manufacturing is done fully in-house, including the final QPQ finishing process that other companies often outsources. Faxon's Gunner barrels are a custom profile developed by Faxon, and are designed to be lightweight without sacrificing overall barrel ridgidity. They are designed to work with any milspec AR-15 platform rifles.

- All milspec AR-15 carrier groups (you need to verify headspace to be safe)
Installation Difficulty:
Tools required: To get it installed and working you should have a standard AR-15 size torque tool and armourer's wrench.
These barrels should be broken in. Doing so will help your barrel perform consistently over its lifespan. How to break in your new barrel:
- Clean the bore thoroughly before firing for the first time.
- Fire 5 rounds, then clean the bore.
- Repeat step #2 three more times.
- Check that the gas block is still securely fastened.
- Inspect the bolt for signs of wear.
- Check that your handguard is still nice and tight
- Fire 25 rounds, the clean the bore.
- Repeat step #5 three more times.
