  2. No brainer
    100%
I'm not sure why I haven't used these before. Crush washers are obsolete for me now. Is easy to use to time a break and is reusable. No brainer! Switch out muzzle breaks or hiders in seconds

  3. Wonderful!
    100%
So much more practical than a crush washer! Timing my NEA brake was so easy with this plus it's reusable. The added thickness compared to a crush washer brought the brake flush with my handguard which was just perfect. A must on any build. Definitely recommended!

Jam Nut for Muzzle Device, Round

In stock
SKU
688737046542-1
From CA$8.77

These are useful for timing (positioning) muzzle devices if you want to be able to adjust the position without using crush washers. With a wrench or two you can adjust your muzzle device multiple times back and forth until you find the right position. So it's like having a reusable crush washer.

  • Colour varies but generally the Chunky style are gunmetal gray while the Slim style are darker, nearly black
  • Use it to time a muzzle device if needed
  • You don't need the crush washer if you are using this unless you're a belt-and-suspenders kinda guy

Chunky-Style specs

  • 13g (1/2" version) or 10g (5/8" version)
  • 0.75" wrench flats
  • 24mm (0.947") diameter on the round area
  • 6mm (0.238") thick

Slim-Style specs

  • 10g (1/2" version) or 8g (5/8" version)
  • 0.75" wrench flats

  • 6.3mm (0.247") thick

  • (1) Jam nut of the specified size and style

  • All barrels with 1/2-28 or 5/8-24 threads

Installation Difficulty:

Tools required: 3/4" wrench
