    This Colt-style bolt catch is designed to work with 9mm lowers for COlt-style magazines. The typical AR-15 bolt catch is too short to catch the follower so this one has an extra long 'finger' to do just that. 

    May not be required if you are using a magwell adapter that has the sliding bolt catch actuator.
