This is Phase 5's 3rd generation battery assistance device. If you're right-hand dominant like me then you need to hit the bolt catch release with your left hand every mag change. Adding one of these ambi bolt catches to your build can make your reload a second or two quicker because you don't have to bring up your left hand.
The EBRv3 gives the operator the ability to reload quicker, clear jams more efficiently, and eliminates unnecessary hand movements during some operations by extending the lever into the trigger well for access on the right side of the weapon.
Completely replaces your existing bolt catch. The lever and bolt catch are integrated into one piece of metal to eliminate issues of poor alignment or screws coming loose at the worst possible time.
The one-piece design means this will fit on many side-charging uppers and billet receivers that would normally not allow you to install a bolt-on extended bolt release such as the Magpul MAG980.

Maybe lay down some masking tape or gaffer tape along the side of the receiver. Then simply knock the old bolt catch roll pin out with a pin punch, being careful to catch the plunger and spring before they launch out to oblivion. Then reverse the process and repeat with the new catch :)
