The advanced SureFire SFMB muzzle brake greatly reduces both recoil impulse and muzzle rise so that the weapon tracks straight back to keep you on target for faster shot-to-shot recovery. Its patented Impulse Diffusion design minimizes side blast and rear-directed concussion effects. It can be used to mount SureFire SOCOM suppressors and blast deffusers.
Precision machined from US mill-certified steel bar stock—including high-precision cut threads for optimum thread interface—the muzzle brake has a black Melonite finish that provides maximum protection under harsh environmental conditions. Also has a blind pilot hole at the 3 and 9 o’clock position to enable fine-tuning of recoil characteristics for individual shooting styles or ammunition characteristics.

NOTE: SureFire SOCOM Series Fast-Attach sound suppressors, flash hider/suppressor adapters, and muzzle brake/suppressor adapters are not compatible with previous SureFire Fast-Attach sound suppressors, muzzle brakes, or flash hiders.

Installation Difficulty:
Tools required: Armourer's wrench, crush washer, and upper receiver vice block or barrel vice
Installation notes: Remember to orient the crush washer with the tapered side towards the gun, as shown in the diagram below:
Don't forget to correctly time it so the ports are at an 180 degree angle!

Socom surefire brake works but no point anymore
Awesome product! Greatly reduces muzzle lift and recoil. I was sceptical at first seeing as it looks similar to a lot of other muzzle brakes. If you can get your hands on a now discontinued surefire warden, it slips on in seconds, does it’s job as muzzle brake but directs blast forward away from you. Being that suppressors are illegal here and the warden is now discontinued, there’s really no point buying this socom version. Better off saving the 100 and getting the regular surefire muzzle brake, does exactly same thing but alot cheaper.

Easy Install
Seriously easy to install. You will need this brake when running the Warden or SOCOM suppressor system. Fit and finish great! Comes with the required shim kit.
