Product Description
This is just a nice simple set of punches to help with the installation of parts into your firearms. Also very handy to take things apart. The 1/16" punch is idea for removing pivot pins as it is small enough to depress the detent through the hole.
Tool steel with black oxide finish to protect them from rust however they are not rust proof so keep them oiled. Knurled handles help with extra grip and the large chamber on the hitt'n end will minimize the risk of shattering and splintering.
Note: Roll pins can break so wear your safety glasses or at least put on your Safety Squints if you are doing something that you shouldn't be.
You get the following Pin Punches:
- 1/16"
- 3/32"
- 1/8"
- 5/32"
- 3/16"
- 7/32"
- 1/4"
- 5/16"
Tips: You didn't hear this from me but the small 1/16" punch will fit inside some roll pins and can be used as a roll pin starter if you are gentle.
The thinner pins are a little soft so make sure she's lined up before hammering away, to prevent bending the pin.
